Photography

When we do actually speak of "capturing the moment", what comes through your mind?

I think some will say that it is living in the very moment of an event happening or simply, shooting by means of a camera that very precious, single moment.

I been thinking lately of acquiring a skill. A skill that I can and will use for life.. Amongst all my want-to-acquire skills, I think photography is one that I really would love to have. Think of it this way, when you're old, look back and reflect back at the younger days. Are you going to just rely on your brain? Images in your brain? I dont think I can. Images recorded, taken, in a tangible form in front of your very eyes, sharing each and every joy that each moment brought to you to everyone around you.. Ahhh.. Won't that be nice?

BINGO! So, photography is the obvious choice for me.. I love to capture the moment. Humans, animals, plants, etc. Wonderful works of nature they are.

So while waiting for comments, I would like to announce that I want a DSLR (have not decided which. Either Canon 450D or Olympus E-520. But my intuition is tell me Olympus.. )!! Anyone would be so kind to get me one? haha!
